There are many issues facing African immigrants and refugees in the Americas and in Baltimore. The Youth Resiliency Institute's Africa In The America's Initiative-Baltimore is a gathering of people of African descent coming together to harness the power of our shared legacy.

Through special gatherings, workshops and events, we celebrate African cultural, traditions and scholarship in Baltimore, Maryland and beyond.
